CVBT is proud and excited to announce our partnership with Comanche Outdoors, an organization whose dedication to outdoor therapy for active duty military, veterans, and first responders is both admirable and incredibly important.
Comanche Outdoors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organizes free, mission‑driven outdoor events to support the emotional and physical rehabilitation of our valued service members.
Founded in 2022, Comanche Outdoors focuses on recreational therapy through nature‑based activities such as hunting, fishing, and other outdoor pursuits. These programs aim to build camaraderie, sharpen cognition, and reduce stress, depression, and anxiety for service members and their families.
All events are cost‑free to participants and are open to those with a vetted background in military, law enforcement, or fire‑rescue service.
“For Comanche Outdoors, this partnership represents an incredible opportunity to bring two meaningful missions together. Our organization is dedicated to getting veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders outdoors, providing opportunities for camaraderie, recreation, and personal well-being,” stated organization President Leon Wojciechowski. “Working alongside CVBT will allow us to explore new outdoor experiences while supporting the responsible stewardship and preservation of these historic properties.”
We believe there is something particularly meaningful about connecting today’s military, veterans, and service members with the land where generations of American soldiers once fought and sacrificed. It creates an opportunity to appreciate our nation’s history firsthand while giving back to the communities and landscapes that deserve our protection.
This partnership goes beyond expanding outdoor opportunities. It brings people together, honors our history, protects natural resources, and helps preserve these
important places for future generations.
“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with CVBT and look forward to building a lasting relationship that benefits both of our organizations, the individuals we serve, and the historic lands we have a shared responsibility to protect,” states Wojciechowski.
